Ethics Training - Impact within Africa

Pointman Leadership Institute has been invited to provide Ethics Training in multiple countries within Africa. Our seminars on character-based leadership have been having a positive impact, as reported in this article by Pointman Team Director, Quintus Smit.

Internal Discipline

Ethical leadership requires adherence to principles, especially when dealing with conflicting responsibilities. A leader with character will also maintain  discipline within their organization, even though it is not always easy or popular.

Confidence

The principle of confidence can be applied to all leadership situations. Become a confident leader even when you lack experience.

Courage

A leader will find respect and personal fulfillment by overcoming common fear and choosing to develop a character of courage. Some traits of an ethical leader with courage are a willingness to make tough decisions, accept rejection, and are willing to seize the initiative.

Respect over Popularity

Leaders who desire respect have found the road demands more than popularity, ease or caution; it demands the observed demonstration of doing the “right thing”. Ethical Leaders desire to do the right thing by considering the law, policy, motive and moral/ethical considerations.

Serve Your Followers

Successful Leaders promote Servant Leadership as the best way to equip your followers. A survey report indicates that a failure to equip was the top failure of leadership reported.
