Ethics Training That Works
Pointman Leadership Institute (PLI) provides ethics training for audiences worldwide in character-based,
principled leadership. PLI's mission is to serve those in authority, primarily leaders
in law enforcement, military, government, business, and education.
PLI offers seminars and consultations demonstrating the direct relationship between the modeling of time-tested moral principles and leadership effectiveness, organizational health, and the maintenance of social order. As a result, Pointman has been privileged to train leaders at such diverse institutions and organizations as the following:
To date, PLI has delivered ethics training in
PLI was begun in 1994 by Assistant Chief (retired) Bob Vernon, Los Angeles Police Department, who commanded 7,000 officers and 2,000 civilians. Since then, PLI has provided instruction in the foundations of ethical leadership to law enforcement officers and military leaders, businessmen, and government officials throughout the world.
All seminars are led by trained, highly qualified volunteer
PLI instructors
who have, on average, 20 years of actual leadership experience in
their industries. Because of the universal principles underpinning the seminars, PLI has enjoyed
wide respect and acceptance.
